По современным данным известно, что болезнь Ниманна-Пика, тип В, обусловлена мутациями в гене SMPD1, который находится в коротком плече 11-й хромосомы. Миссенс-замена ведет к недостаточной выработке лизосомального фермента — кислой сфингомиелиназы, которая отвечает за расщепление сфингомиелина в клетках. </p><p>В результате сфингомиелин накапливается в клетках ретикулоэндотелиальной системы, что приводит к патологическим изменениям в различных органах. В этой статье описан клинический случай девочки-подростка с болезнью Ниманна-Пика типа В, у которой методами лучевой диагностики были выявлены характерные изменения внутренних органов.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Niemann-Pick disease is a rare genetic disorder with an autosomal recessive inheritance pattern, which belongs to a group of sphingolipid metabolism diseases. According to available data, Niemann-Pick disease type B is caused by mutations in the SMPD1 gene, which is located on the short arm of chromosome 11. A missense substitution leads to insufficient production of the lysosomal enzyme acid sphingomyelinase, which is responsible for the breakdown of sphingomyelin. As a result, sphingomyelin accumulates in the cells of the reticuloendothelial system, leading to abnormalities in various organs.</p><p>This article describes a clinical case of an adolescent girl with Niemann-Pick disease type B, in whom typical changes in the internal organs were identified using several medical imaging modalities.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>болезнь Ниманна-Пика</kwd><kwd>тип В</kwd><kwd>дефицит кислой сфингомиелиназы</kwd><kwd>олипудаза альфа</kwd><kwd>поражение легких</kwd><kwd>лизосомальные болезни</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>Niemann-Pick Disease type B</kwd><kwd>acid sphingomyelinase deficiency</kwd><kwd>olipudase&#13;
